Yesterday on EKU’s campus Richmond Police partnered with the Big Brother Big Sister organization to raise funds by dunking a cop in cold water! Students and officials alike paid a $5 fee to hurl three balls in hopes of dunking an officer, all for a good cause.
Wbontv’s Grendalyn Morton interviewed multiple organization members as well as Lt. Josh Hale from the Richmond Police Department who told us that “a big part of the event is to partner the little sisters and brothers with big brothers and sisters from the Fraternities and Sororities.” Funds were also donated to the St. Judes Research Hospital. For an in depth look at the event be sure to watch the video.
