The Nicholasville Police Department arrested a man Thursday in reference to drug trafficking.
A search warrant was executed at a residence on Liberty St. after receiving information about possible drug trafficking.
Police discovered a quantity of methamphetamine and heroin along with four handguns.
46-year-old David Meyer was arrested at the residence and charged with first degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a handgun by a felon.
The investigation is still ongoing.
