A man was arrested Tuesday morning, after authorities found a baggie with various drugs in it.
According to the citation, Ronald Courtney was seen with another male subject walking towards the Eastern Bypass. Courtney reportedly told the officer that he was on his way to a laundromat to do laundry.
When Richmond Police requested identification, Courtney allegedly gave his brother’s name and date of birth. Upon further reading of the citation, the arresting officer initiated a body search which yielded a small baggie containing a small amount of marijuana and a “crystal-like substance suspected to be Methamphetamine”.
Courtney was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, as well as theft of identity of another w/o consent.
