A two-vehicle collision has claimed the lives of two people today in Wolfe County.
The Wolfe County Sheriff’s tells WBON-TV9 the accident occurred around 10:30 this morning on HWY 15 south, near Hunting Fork Road. Hwy 15 was reopened around 4:30 this afternoon, as an extensive investigation into the accident was made today. The roadway was shut down for about 6 hours while police worked that scene.
The Wolfe County Coroner is contacting next of kin, so the identities of those involved will not be released until that process is complete. Kentucky State Police Post 8 in Morehead is the lead investigator into the crash.
