Firefighters remain on scene at the old Irvine High School on Main Street. A spark from construction equipment apparently ignited suspected asbestos materials causing the blaze. According to Fire Chief Derrick Muncie, the fire was not intentionally set. The Irvine fire department remains on scene now put out the fire.
