Detectives from the Laurel County Sheriff’s office are conducting a death investigation which occurred on York Shire Estates Road in London.
Officers were dispatched to a complaint of a body on fire.
Police state that they found a burned body who was deceased in the driveway of a residence Friday morning.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstance of the death and an autopsy will be conducted in Frankfort on Saturday.
The victim’s name has not been released pending notifications of next of kin.
