Darrell Billings announces candidacy for State Representative in Kentucky’s 91st House District

Darrell Billings, a third-generation farmer and small business owner, has officially announced his candidacy for State Representative in Kentucky’s 91st House District, which includes Estill, Powell, and Madison Counties.

In a press release issued this morning Billings stated, “After much prayer and many conversations with community leaders, family, and friends, Jennifer and I are proud to share that I will be running for State Representative,” said Billings. “Our home deserves a strong voice in Frankfort—one that fights for our values and delivers real results.”

“The 91st District has incredible potential. We can’t afford to be left behind by career politicians in Frankfort,” said Billings. “I’m ready to be your voice and deliver the results our communities deserve.”

The Billings announcement touts bringing his deep local roots and a strong conservative platform to the race. His campaign is focused on protecting traditional values, strengthening the local economy, supporting Kentucky agriculture, and backing President Donald Trump’s America First policies.

The seat is now vacant as incumbent Bill Wesley has announced he will seek the Senate seat in Kentucky District 30.
