Danville police were called to Walmart on Monday in response to a woman who was allegedly under the influence and then slipped out of her handcuffs. According to officers, 29 year old Jessica Crawley was arrested for public intoxication, but then got out of the cuffs and attempted to open the cruiser door. She was eventually re-secured and was found to have narcotics on her person. She was booked on handful of charges, including resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, promoting contraband, and trafficking in heroin and methamphetamine, among others.
