Erin Muse, counselor at Daniel Boone Elementary, has been recognized with the CED 450 Cooperating Teacher of the Year Award, presented by Eastern Kentucky University (EKU). This honor celebrates exceptional mentorship and dedication to shaping future educators.
Muse was nominated by her student teacher in recognition of her outstanding guidance, support, and leadership. Before stepping into her current role as school counselor at Daniel Boone Elementary, Muse taught kindergarten at Waco Elementary School, where she laid the foundation for her impactful career in education.
The award highlights Muse’s continued commitment to students, both in the classroom and in her role supporting their emotional and academic growth.
