Both Lee and Magoffin Schools have had attendence impacted so significantly they called off in class learning last week.

Madison County Health officials say they are watching numbers locally and encouraging people to stay home when sick. Madison County also is seeing an increase in reported cases, though they say, “we know by and large, majority of folks are testing at home, so we realize these are not absolute numbers, but illustrates the trend.”

Madison County Reported Cases

Week of 8/6 – 8/12 – 38 cases

Week of 8/13-8/19 – 47 cases

Week of 8/20-8/26 – 81 cases
