As if gas wasn’t high enough, a couple took this video of an apparently faulty gas pump this week at the Stanton Kroger. In the video, a pump is shown running ever so slightly even without any gas being pumped. WBON-TV spoke to the couple following the incident, who say they get all their gas at Kroger, went back again the following morning to a different pump and they said it did the same thing.
Store Manager at the Stanton Kroger Clint Collins told WBON that store officials “were not aware of any such problems with their pumps until we [WBON] called”. Collins directed us to Kroger in Louisville for further comment. We called the number and spoke to three individuals. The third individual gave us a different number for media matters, and when we called that number, we got a recording. We left the information, but have not received a response. WBON will follow up if a response is given.
