The Laurel County Detention Center recently responded to a complaint that a male subject, later identified as Jacob Foley of Corbin, had allegedly stolen two tires from a business in southern Laurel County.
Foley had apparently sold the tires valued at $720 total to an unknown truck driver. An investigation was conducted and Foley admitted to taking the tires and later selling them. Additionally, Foley was allegedly found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and a glass tube with suspected drug residue.
Foley was arrested and lodged in the Laurel County correctional center where he was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking ($500 or more but under $10,000), 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
