Today at the EKU Center for the Arts, Congressman Andy Barr spoke at the Richmond Chamber of Commerce Luncheon. WBON-TV’s Marisa Hempel caught up with him after he spoke and answered questions for the chamber members, and asked him what the priorities are right now out of Washington.
Barr said that 14 Congressional Review Act Bills have been passed, in order to eliminate Obama-Era legislation. He also promised that this fall Congress would hit tax reform hard, and that this would make the economy “go off like a rocket”.
After the luncheon, Barr explained that he was headed to the Bluegrass Army Depot in order to hear an update regarding operations since new leadership has taken place at the Army Installation in Madison County.
WBON-TV will also post the hot topics from Barr from his hour-long talk.
