LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a temporary closure scheduled for a portion of Battlefield Memorial Highway/US 421 in Madison County. The closure is necessary for the existing bridge to be replaced with a precast culvert.
Monday, June 17 through Monday, July 1 – 7 a.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Monday (times are approximate)

Alternate Routes
From northbound Battlefield Memorial Highway/US 421:
- Motorists can utilize US 421, left to Big Hll Road/KY 21, right to Blue Lick Road/KY 1617, right to KY Highway 1016 to US 421
From southbound Battlefield Memorial Highway/US 421:
- Motorists can utilize US 421, right to KY Highway 1016, left to Blue Lick Road/KY 1617, left to Big Hill Road/KY 21 to US 421
