Early this morning around 6 am, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a stolen school bus belonging to the Clay County Board of Education.
The bus was eventually located on Buzzard Road where it seems that unknown suspect(s) had attempted to take the bus onto a logging trail where the vehicle had become wrecked on an embankment.
The Clay County Sheriff Office is asking for any information pertaining to the case. If someone may know anything about this theft and wreck they are asked to contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at (606) 598-3471 or Manchester City Police at (606) 598-8411 at extension 1.
