The identity of the 7-year-old child, who apparently drowned while at Paradise Cove at Gibson Bay Monday, has now been officially confirmed.
The child has been identified as Santino Montreal Yancey-Hardwick, age 7, of Lexington, KY.
The City of Richmond, in a follow up today, says the Richmond Police Department continues to actively collaborate with the pool management company to conduct a thorough investigation into these tragic circumstances.
At this time, Paradise Cove remains closed pending the outcome of the investigation and any additional safety evaluations.
