Central Kentucky Flood Watch Issued Through Thursday Morning

The rain and cloudy skies just won’t give us a break, and now we have a flood watch issued for the area.

Today saw some heavy rain move through the area very early this morning, and as we move into evening, we should see the rain move out for just a few hours. Highs today are in the mid to upper 40s, with overnight lows falling to just above freezing.

More rain moves in for our morning commute tomorrow, and from Wednesday through Thursday night, we can expect to see an additional inch to two inches on top of our already saturated ground.

Flood watches have already been issued for most of the area, and it’s likely that those watches are going to turn to warnings over the next several hours. If you are out and see flooding conditions, get a picture or video and send it to me at weather@wbontv.com.
