Two Richmond residents were sent to the hospital for evaluation after a car collided with a tractor yesterday on Tates Creek Road in Richmond.
The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was contacted just before 3:00 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2023, in reference to the two-vehicle collision in Madison County.
Investigators say a white Pontiac, operated by Kerri Isaacs of Richmond was traveling on Tates Creek Road behind a tractor, operated by Randall Curry of Richmond.
KSP says Ms. Issacs attempted to pass the tractor in a no passing zone and failed to see the tractor attempting to make a left-handed turn into a driveway.
As a result of the collision, Randall Curry of Richmond, was ejected from the tractor and transported to UK Medical Center, with non-life-threatening injuries. Kerri Issacs was also transported to UK Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Trooper John Odea is conducting the ongoing collision investigation. He was assisted on scene by Kentucky State Police personnel.
