Canine officer finds wanted Madison County man hiding in homes crawl space

In an attempt to locate a wanted Madison County man, officials with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office staged an early morning observation of a home on Greens Crossing Road.

Officials say three officers arrived just after 4 am in an attempt to locate Johnny Ray McQueen; who was known to have two outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Throughout the course of their investigation on scene, officers say McQueen was seen dropping through a hole in the floor and into a crawl space beneath the residence. A perimeter was then set up around the residence.

Around 6:00 am, Deputy Kermeen arrived on scene to assist. Police Certified Canine Spike was deployed to conduct a large area search of the homes crawl space where McQueen was located.

McQueen was lodged at the Madison County Detention Center for a Parole Violation Warrant, a Failure to Appear Warrant and Resisting Arrest.
