Campton man arrested on child sexual exploitation offenses

On Tuesday afternoon, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch located and arrested 18-year-old Jesse Dunn on charges related to a child sexual abuse material investigation.

Police located Dunn, who was interviewed and arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect uploading sexually explicit images of juveniles online.

The investigation resulted in a search warrant being executed at a Campton residence on July 7th. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is still ongoing.

Dunn is currently charged with 20 counts of possessing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance. Possessing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance is a Class-C felony and is punishable by 5-10 years in prison. Dunn was lodged in the Three Forks Regional Jail.
