Now that the heat of summer and Independence day are here, you may notice fireworks stands popping up in parking lots and at local businesses around the region. These brightly colored tents have a bit of a story to them, with family businesses from out of state coming to the area to provide residents with all things that go off with a bang—legally of course. Marisa Hempel talked to one woman who says that not only do their travel across the state, but there is actually quite a process with getting these tents up and running in order to sell the best in firecrackers.
