On Friday February 2nd an employee’s truck was broken into outside of a business located just north of Lancaster. One owner and two employees were inside the business when they noticed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. Upon closer inspection they saw that an employee’s truck was being burglarized.
When the three went out to confront the burglar, the burglar made a quick escape in their vehicle and narrowly missed an employee. Police are currently working on getting CCTV footage to get a license plate number. If you have any information call the Garrard County Police Department at 859-792-3591
Update: Police have reported that the car matches the description of a vehicle stolen in Nicholasville Tuesday
