The Breathitt County Emergency Agency has announced tonight a notice to residents in the Panbowl Lake area.
They say It appears that the river is back feeding through the spillway and into the lake, causing a rise in water levels in the lake.
While they say there does not appear to be an immediate life-safety threat, both the Breathitt County nursing home and the hospital are being evacuated, out of an abundance of caution.
Most of the area continues under flash flood warnings. Everyone is urged to seek safety if you live in flood plains.
