The Danville teen charged with the murder of her stepmother in 2016 is expected to be sentenced today.
Jenna Oakley was set to go on trial for playing a role in the murder of Rhonda Oakley. Oakley was just 15 years old at the time Rhonda was murdered. She and her boyfriend, Kenneth Nigh ran to New Mexico before getting caught. Nigh died by suicide in his cell.
Last month, she entered a guilty plea to lesser charges.
Oakley agreed to a plea deal on manslaughter and theft charges, with a sentence up to 15 years for the charges.
