Bourbon producers in Kentucky claim that the proposed wine shipping bill should be extended to bourbon.
The Senate Bill 99 that was recently passed and is now in the House would allow wine from out-of-state shipped to Kentuckians directly to their doors and legalizes shipping 24 cases of wine annually to wine lovers in Kentucky.
Leaders at the Kentucky Distiller’s Association say that the SB 99 does not allow bourbon producers to do the same thing.
