According to a story today from The Beattyville Enterprise, Betty Sebastian, a Booneville City Council member is now facing charges of methamphetamine possession. Sebastian was arrested in Clay County over the weekend. According to the report, Sebastian was stopped for failure to wear a seat belt, and in the arrest citation, the officer states Sebastion appeared “nervous” and her stories were “conflicting and not adding up.”
During a subsequent search of the vehicle, the Officer allegedly found a clear plastic baggy containing what was believed to be Meth. Court documents said the baggy was inside a cigarette pack.
