One person was found dead inside a home after a fire Wednesday night in Pikeville.
Firefighters and Kentucky State Police responded to the call just after 10 Wednesday night. Investigators said they found one body inside the structure fire on 23 south at Caney Drive.
Pike County Coroner Kevin Hall told WBON-TV the body has not been identified officially at this time, and was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy and official determination of identity.
KSP are investigating the case.
