State and local law enforcement, along with the Estill County Coroner, responded to a building in Estill County this morning after the discovery of a body on the property.
The building is on the corner of Broadway and River Drive, near the Irvine/Ravenna line. The property was an active crime scene throughout most of the day today. Officials say the subject was living in the back of the building.
Estill County Coroner Jimmy Wise has confirmed to WBON-TV that the body is that of 44-year-old Randall Anglin of Estill County. The body was found around 10:30 this morning and Anglin was officially pronounced dead at 10:52.
The body has been sent to Frankfort for an autopsy and toxicology reports.
WBON also inquired about unofficial information we have received, that the body was also extensively mutilated. None of the authorities we spoke to would either confirm or deny those reports at this time, as that information may be sensitive to the investigation. KSP, who is investigating, says ‘no foul play” is suspected in this case.
