Bluegrass Crime Stoppers has released two photos of the vehicle believed to be connected to the hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian in Lexington recently.
On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, Anna Kolokotas was on North Broadway, near Fourth Street, when she was struck by this white SUV. Police say the vehicle then fled the scene. Kolokotas passed away at UK Hospital less than a hour later.
This week Bluegrass Crime Stoppers and local authorities have turned up the effort to find the suspect by releasing 2 photos believed to be the suspect and vehicle in the case.
The feature photo of the SUV is timestamped at 12:46 a.m., moments before the fatal accident occurred.
The SUV appears to have an oversize sunroof and is believed to have sustained some damage from the crash.
Lexington Police are still investigating this incident and say they do not have any suspect information as of yet.
