Black bear sightings have been plentiful this June in Central Kentucky. Residents of several counties have taken to Facebook to post pictures and details surrounding their encounters.
Amanda Fite, who lives on the Clark County side of Boonesborough Road, told WBON that she thinks the black bear in the feature picture may have been watching her work outside their home for quite a while.
The sighting was around 4 this afternoon. Fite said the bear crossed the road and left their property near the GRC High School.
Fite captured several pictures and video of the bear.
