Berea restaurant J. Gumbos has announced it’s shutting down. From May 18th until December 24th it was owned by Berea College and brought a variety of different flavors to the citizens of Berea.
Berea College Dining General Manager David McHargue stated that there wasn’t enough business to remain open, he also stated that ” J.Gumbo’s enjoyed serving the community and was disappointed we had to close for financial reasons. We hope the community will continue to support the other local restaurants in Berea”
