A Berea man is now charged with a Class A felony of first-degree rape of a victim, under 12 years of age.
Abel Jarquin Ramirez of Baugh Street in Berea was arrested Monday stemming from an incident last year in June, where he allegedly engaged his own daughter under 12, in adult relations.
The charges were brought when the daughter of the suspect informed her mother of the inappropriate contact by the father. The details of the case are too graphic for us to broadcast or share, but Berea Police are conducting the investigation and have placed Jarquin in custody. He is currently in the Madison County Detention Center.
