The Lee County Sheriff’s Department recently arrested a woman, who authorities claim forced her way into a Madison County residence and attacked the homeowner.
According to the complaint warrant, Harley Tipton used a credit card to gain entry into the home. Once she was inside, Tipton allegedly kicked the victim in the ribs and pushed them into the kitchen wall.
According to police, she then fled the scene with a bag of clothes that belonged to the victim. Reports estimate the value of the clothing items to be approximately 40 dollars. These items were not recovered.
Tipton was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center and charged with 1st Degree Burglary.
