One Owingsville woman has been pronounced deceased following a fatal car crash on Tuesday.
On October 24th, a two-vehicle injury collision occurred near the Bath/Montgomery County line. 90-year-old Donna Maze from Owingsville, was driving South on KY 11. 34 year-old Kyle Gray of Flemingsburg was traveling North on KY 11. Authorities say Maze lost control of her vehicle and collided with Gray.
Maze was pronounced dead at the scene by Bath County Deputy Coroner Michael Gray. Kyle Gray was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The Kentucky State Police, Morehead Post conducted the investigation with assistance from the Bath County Sheriff’s Department, Bath County Coroner’s Office, and Bath County Fire and EMS.
The collision remains under investigation.
