Rain has returned to the bluegrass after a very dry start to August. This is the first rain that we have seen since August 1st.
Rain will continue to pop up throughout the remainder of the afternoon with the chance for some thunder and lightning as well. Temps for today will top out in the upper 80’s with the heat index reaching into the high 90’s.
Overnight, we will cool down to around 70 degrees. Tomorrow, the first day back to school for many of the kids in our area, we will see highs a little cooler, topping out in the mid to upper 80’s.
