Wednesday afternoon an arrest occurred in Laurel County off Pleasant View Road, where Sheriff Deputies were reportedly dispatched to an assault complaint.
Police then officially made contact with a female victim who said a 26 year old Daniel Cody of London Ky allegedly slammed her to the floor and began shoving her into a bookcase and then started punching her. Police say a injury to the Victim’s face was visible. Reportedly Cody had already left the scene but soon returned after on a motorcycle.
The Deputy charged Cody with assault 4th degree in addition to driving on a DUI suspended license. Cody was lodged in the Laurel County detention center.
