After several attempts to call her granddaughter, a Berea woman knew something was wrong.
According to the report, Eula Lamb approached the two officers from the Madison County Sheriff’s Department as they were sitting in their patrol cars and informed them that her granddaughter Bethany Foster had allegedly overdosed in her home.
Allegedly, Lamb had been trying to call Foster for two hours with no answer.
According to deputies, they arrived at the residence and found a male subject passed out in the living room with marijuana and a homemade pipe in front of him. Police continued they found Foster in the back of the home passed out, and after several attempts to wake her they had no luck.
The report states that at this time EMS were called to the home. After EMS arrived Foster allegedly woke up and cursed the EMS and police telling them to get out of her home.
Allegedly, Foster would not go with the EMS after being advised to by police and resisted when after the officer asked her to put her hands behind her back. Police add that Foster’s two young children were in the home: aged 1 and 2.
According to the report, child services were called after Foster was arrested.
Foster was booked in the Madison County Detention Center and charged with:
Wanton Endangerment-1st Degree
Resisting Arrest
