The Madison County Sheriff’s Office report conducting the arrest of a father who allegedly endangered the welfare of his child.
Deputies arrived on scene in reference to a 8-year-old being reportedly witnessed by a neighbor running into an apartment, “trying to hide”. Deputies then allegedly heard screaming from the reported apartment that the child ran into.
Deputies allegedly witnessed the father, 35-year-old Rijal Biswas kick his 8-year-old child in the head. According to the citation, Deputies made contact with the above and immediately report detecting the odor of alcohol on Biswas’s person.
Biswas was arrested on charges of 4th Degree Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.
