Five individuals were taken into custody early Sunday morning after Laurel County Deputies were dispatched to investigate a disturbance complaint near Paris Karr Road, approximately 10 miles South of London.
Officers arrived at the scene where they located a female subject, later identified as Madison Brown of Liberty, outside the residence along with a male subject who had been reported to have left the scene and returned. While conducting an investigation with the female subject, she reportedly became belligerent with deputies who detected the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from her.
Once inside the residence, police discovered numerous intoxicated adults and juveniles. According to the citation, authorities learned that a party had taken place where alcoholic beverages were consumed.
An unconscious 17-year-old male juvenile from Mt. Washington, KY was located in a back bedroom and it was determined that he had allegedly been assaulted by three individuals inside the residence.
This victim was transported to Baptist Healthcare in Corbin and later airlifted to a Louisville hospital. He was last reported on a ventilator with serious head trauma. Video recordings and text messages related to the assault were recovered by authorities.
Two male juveniles were arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication. One of the juveniles also intentionally deleted a video depicting the reported assault. Madison Brown was charged with 1st Degree Disorderly Conduct and Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place.
Brady Tyler Cook, age 18 of Danville, was charged with 1st Degree Assault and Alcohol Intoxication. John Tyler Masters, age 19 of Keavy, was charged with 1st Degree Assault and 3rd Degree Unlawful Transaction with a Minor as he allegedly brought alcoholic beverages to the residence despite nobody there being over the age of 21.
All three adult individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center, and one of the male juveniles was transported to the Breathitt County Detention Center per court order.
