Laurel County Sheriff’s officials made an early Wednesday morning arrest after a possible injury crash had been reported. Authorities were dispatched to Johnson Road, East of London where a vehicle was partially submerged in water.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies conducted an investigation on the driver, later identified as Piper Montgomery of Manchester. Their investigation reportedly determined that Montgomery was under the influence.
Montgomery was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, Improper Equipment, No Registration Receipt, and Improper Registration Plate.
