Donna Agee officially filed today for the office of Madison County Judge Executive .

Agee, accompanied by her children, signed official filing paperwork. Agee stated “Having my children by my side reminded me exactly why I am stepping into this race. They are my “why.” The future we leave for our children and grandchildren matters, and it is worth every bit of effort, commitment, and challenge ahead.” 

Agee, a Republican, will face off against Reagan Taylor in the May primaries.

According to her campaign website, Donna Agee is a lifelong public servant, healthcare leader, and proud Madison County resident with over 30 years of experience serving the people of Central Kentucky. A registered nurse and graduate of EKU’s nursing program, Donna has dedicated her career to improving lives, from home health and senior care to behavior heath, addiction recovery, and services fo the underserved.

Agee has held numerous leadership roles across Masison County, including Executive Director of Dominion Senior Living and Chief Operating Officer of a Federally Qualified Health Cener, where she led multimillion-dollar healthcare operations, secured vital grants, and fought for access to care for those without a voice.
