WBON-TV has gathered more information on another fatal accident that occurred Friday night, April 19, around 7:30 p.m. The collision occurred on Oakley Pebble Road in Bath County.
Kentucky State Police Morehead post received a call for assistance with the single vehicle fatal collision from Bath County Dispatch. According to KSP, It was determined Steve Clarke, 57 years of age from Owingsville was traveling west on Oakley Pebble Road in a Honda Odyssey. Mr. Clarke left the right side of the roadway striking an earth embankment before the vehicle came to rest on its side. Mr. Clarke was pronounced deceased at the scene by Bath County Coroner Andrew Owens. The passenger in the vehicle, Patsy Clarke, also from Owingsville, was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
KSP was assisted by Bath County Sheriff’s Department, Bath County EMS and Bath County Fire and Rescue. This collision remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police, Morehead.
