Richmond Police arrested a male subject in regards to reportedly strangling his aunt.
On Sunday, police responded to a call from a residence in regards to a complaint of an assault where the victim advised police her nephew who resided with her, also known as 23 year old Austin Kaylor had assaulted her by reportedly choking her.
Upon contact with Austin police detained and mirandized him. The victim reportedly advised authorities about a verbal altercation about the subject bringing food to his room. This reportedly caused Kaylor to throw objects at the victim and strangle her leaving visible red marks on her neck.
Kaylor advised he didn’t mean to choke the victim. Kaylor was arrested and transported to the Madison County Detention Center.
