Crews responded to a semi-truck fire in Laurel County this morning.
The semis brakes appear to have caught fire and quickly engulfed the trailer. This was the scene around 7:30 this morning on I-75 southbound, just before exit 29 in Corbin.
The Laurel County Fire Department shared these pictures of the extensive damage to the trailer.
The semi cab was successfully decoupled and saved, and the driver was unharmed.
