A Richmond man was killed in an early morning motorcycle accident on the new Berea bypass today.
Officials tell WBON TV-9 the accident occurred at the intersection of old US 25 and the new Berea Bypass (KY956).
Madison County Coroner, Jimmy Cornelison, got the call a little after 5 am and later pronounced Bruce Anthony Kelley, age 42 of Richmond, deceased at the scene.
Early indications say Mr. Kelley entered the intersection and was struck by another vehicle. The motorcycle then subsequently hit another vehicle that was sitting still.
Mr. Kelley was not wearing a helmet.
