A Clark County woman has died overnight at the Madison County Detention Center in Richmond.
46-year-old Tonya Spalding of Winchester was found unresponsive in her cell around 1:30 a.m. this morning Friday February 23,2024.
Spalding was apprehended, Tuesday, at a home on Cank McWilliams Road in Eubank.
She was taken into custody for multiple warrants out of Madison County.
Madison County coroner Jimmy Cornelison says her body has been sent to Frankfort for an autopsy and a toxicology report.
Kentucky State police are investigating.
