According to the state website, three new deaths are being reported due to COVID-19 for Madison County. There are now a total of 42 deaths related to the virus since the start of the pandemic.
As far as incidence rate, 119 of the 120 Commonwealth Counties including Madison County are now in the critical, heightened red zone. Madison County stands at 71.3% for incidence rate, which is cases per 100K population.
Monday, the Madison County Health Department reported 195 new cases confirmed, resulting in a total of 1,218 active cases.
