A toddler shot himself Tuesday but reports state that he is stable.
According to our news partner LEX18, the shooting happened just before midnight on JE Woods Drive in Danville.
The 2-year-old was being cared for by a family member when he shot himself in the foot with a .22 caliber revolver, reports state. The child was flown to the hospital.
Officials described his injuries as non life-threatening.
Police continue to investigate.
