Fraudulent Use of Credit Card Lands Madison County Man in Jail

This past weekend, the Richmond Police Department was dispatched to a local motorsports business in reference to a male subject identified as 43-year-old Dustin Lee Allen, who was attempting to purchase a $15,900 motorcycle with a stolen credit card.

According to the citation the credit card was cut in half, but taped together. Reportedly when police tried to make contact with Allen in the store, he took off on foot initiating a brief foot pursuit.

Police report catching Allen leading to a brief struggle and fight, police say Allen continued to allegedly resist, causing the use of taser from officers.

The owners of the card advised police that Allen allegedly had made other purchases as well but couldn’t get a total until 2-3 business days.

Allen was arrested and lodged in the Madison County Detention Center on charges of Fraudulent use of a Credit Card over $10,000, Fleeing or Evading Police and Resisting Arrest.
