Three enter guilty pleas in Manchester murder case


Three suspects accused in the murder of Jeremy Caldwell age 32 of Manchester pled guilty in Laurel Circuit Court today. Caldwell was allegedly shot in his vehicle off Highway 490 at Highway 1376 intersection approximately 5 miles north of London on December 20 of 2020. The suspects fled the scene and were later arrested by the Laurel County Sheriff‘s office.

Robert Brandon Gray, age 40 of Keavy, pled guiltily for 25 years in prison, Ashley Lewis ,age 31 of East Bernstadt, pled guilty for 20 years in prison, and Freddie Wayne Scalf Junior, age 30 of East Bernstadt ,pled guilty for 15 years in prison. Final sentencing is scheduled for September 14th in Laurel Circuit Court
